55th Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition

The 55th International Art Exhibition titled The Encyclopedic Palace, is opening to the public from Saturday June 1 to Sunday November 24 at the Giardini and the Arsenale. The preview will be held on from May 29 to 31. The award ceremony and the inauguration will take place on Saturday June 1. 88 countries will exhibit in the historic Giardini and Arsenale and throughout Venice. Among these are 10 countries participating in the exhibition for the first time: Angola, the Bahamas, Bahrain, Ivory Coast, Kosovo, Kuwait, Maldives, Paraguay, Tuvalu and the Vatican. SPOT ART

SPOT ART is an international juried visual arts festival that seeks to promote the best contemporary artworks by artists below 30 years old from the region. SPOT ART helps emerging artists to engage with supporters of youth, education, and the arts. Singapore Biennale 2013: If The World Changed

The fourth edition of Singapore’s premier contemporary art exhibition, Singapore Biennale 2013 (SB 2013) is titled “If The World Changed.” It will be held from 26 October 2013 to 16 February 2014, with the vernissage on 24 & 25 October 2013.  SB 2013 will take place across  a number of active art spaces in the Bras Basah-Bugis precinct. The precinct is filled with rich cultural institutions and icons which SB 2013 will partner with and at the same time, SB 2013 hopes to inject cultural vibrancy into the area.
